mean how do u think we would really react.

1. white and black come together and gang up on green.

2. after one of their satelites are destroyed france cuts a deal (ww2 style) with the aliens and elects a puppet regime.

3. the arabs charge with derelict soviet space shuttles and go on the greatest suicide run in history

4. the most powerful christian nations in the west, russia and china get taking out fast and the refugees from these countries move to the third world and join with the rest of humanity in resistance and guerilla warfare, in subsaharan jungles, siberian tundras and north african deserts.

5. the church of scientology declares all religions are wrong, and we should worship the aliens as gods. the aliens then make tom cruises their prophet and charge him with exterminating and converting all other religious infidels to the church of scientology.

10.one day everyone is chilling enjoying the planet and them there is a flash and just like that humanity and its civilizations cease to exist

– Christian-Catholic
– I enjoy Marksmanship and have a slick trigger finger with 90% accuracy
– Enjoys the occassional singing. Sounds a bit like Bruno Mars. high voice sounds like Prince. Attempted Michael Jackson but failed XD
– TV Shows: CSI, Everybody Hates Chris, Flashpoint, Dog the Bounty Hunter, CTV News???

Of course this question is inspired by the diagnosis for Massachusetts Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

Since I am at an age where such a cancer would likely be a death sentence for me, this disease hits home.

I would get my affairs in order and then I would spend whatever time I have left writing everything I could think of–my memories, my cares, my concerns.

I would try to get closer to God. I would find the books I’ve always wanted to read and didn’t have time and read them. I would stay busy. I would try to do some traveling. I would like to see the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, and the Pyramids.

I would try to find everyone I loved so I could personally tell them I loved them. I would forgive all my enemies. I would try to get at least one flight on a supersonic airplane. I would take at least one cruise. I would try to find someone who would let me drive a train.

I would try to spend my last days as much like a little kid as possible.
I know I said what I’D do…

My question was, what would YOU do?

And the serious answers have been pretty good.
Wow, you guys have some great answers. I hope all of us live so long that they’ll say about us “He (she) lived a great and full life, and I’ll miss ’em until we meet again in heaven.” And, in the words of the great Irish toast, “May we be in heaven an hour before the devil knows we’ve died.”

For my 16th birthday next year my parents are being very generous and they are letting me plan a trip due to the fact that I don’t want to throw a party, but I’m kind of stuck. After a lot of complications it’s come down to two choices:
1. Go on a cruise with friends. I would absolutely love this because it would be fun to have friends around
2. Pick any place in the world to visit. Obviously travelling to somewhere like china would be a stretch but places like Paris, Rome etc.
Idk what to do!! I wanna be with friends but going to somewhere else in the world would b fun. The world trip thing would just be with family though. What would you guys choose? I feel the cruise night be better because the world trip may end up feeling like a family vacation, something we can plan any other year. Help! Plz don’t call me spoiled. I’m surprised my parents would offer this and in very thankful

I will be going just before the Olympics take place.

Note: I’m a young adult who is interested in historic sites, unusual sites (ie- Stone Forest), typical tourist sites (Forbidden City), and hiking. I want to experience China to its fullest, and I am willing to take several intra-China flights to save time instead of the train. What do you think of this Tentative itinerary? I have noted the number of days I plan to spend in each city beside it (give or take a day or two)

Guilin 2
Hong Kong3
Is the Yangtze River still worth taking a cruise along or is it too late now?
