Yangtze is best. There is much more to see lots of towns and villages and various cultures.

The Nile is just surrounded by desert. Ok you have pyramids etc but you also have ancient sites in china and a whole lot more. Also Egypt is a very unstable country at present.

50 day cruises? Around the world?That bring you back to the place you started at like ( for example) if they started off in Fort Lauderdale they end up on day 50 there again. One that goes to china would be ideal hong kong,Shanghai,Beijing any of them just basically around the world. Or as much of the world as possible in 50 days

World cruises are usually anywhere from 90 to 110 days. You can take segments if you like. If you want to be gone about 50 days, there are cruises that go around South America, and cruises that go around the Pacific. Your travel agent can help you find them!

i’m 13 and we’re taking a cruise there this late spring and i was wondering do i need any vaccines for any of those places. If so, which ones hurt the most and where do u get them (arm or bum?) I’m a bit terrified of needles. I havent had any shots since kindergarten so I don’t know if that effects it.

We are taking a 13 day cruise in Asia, and are wondering about bringing our own alcohol on board. Royal Carib. does not allow you to bring your own liquor on board (even wine) so I’m looking for suggestions. We have saved for years to be able to afford this cruise, and have a budget of $ 200 per person to spend on the cruise (probably at the bar). But we would like to be able to have some pre drinks in our room.

My main question, does anyone know if RCCL in Asia will look differently on liquor than they do in North America? Here, if they catch you, you get sent to the special room to take the liquor out of your bag, and it is sometimes returned at the end of the cruise. That’s it. Now, I’m not wanting to end up in China Jail, so I thought I would ask. We are departing from Hong Kong, but aslo have stops in Japan, Shanghai, South Korea and Taiwan.

We have the rum runner flasks, but I’m not sure if we should use them. Is there another method anyone could suggest? I know there will be some people who say suck it up and just buy the $ 8 drinks, and I know that is the safest option, but I’m looking for suggestions on the departing from Hong Kong with liquor.

I have been through the same situation as yours.I know it is very much annoying.
However what I did was topped up a couple of empty 1 liter TetraPak juice packs
with vodka & scotch and took them aboard without any fuss !

I already know that on a cruise, out at sea the prices are different for cell phone use.The cruise shop have their own price or the big cell companies like AT&T, Verizion and Sprint charge a different price. It mostly for emergency, I heard and a person on a forum said it will say SOS on the cell phone not the provider.

What about when people are on land or at port in Victora, would that be the same price as here in the U.S. or different just like being in Hong Kong, China, England, Germany and Italy(need to switch sim card).

How about when in Alaska at anywhere, when at port and on land would the price be the same with AT&T, Verizion and Sprint. It is the U.S., would it be like if one is in Vegas, L.A., New York, Washington D.C. or Florida and calling to a city in another state, on price?

How are the cell signal anywhere in Alaska?

I checked AT&T’s site(the provider we have) and on their map they have services on land in Alaska. But do they charge the same as if say someone calling from Vegas to California or from New York to Utah, weather it mobile to mobile or not. Well the charges be like those kinds of way.

So anyone know anyone know anything or any good websites with infos, that might not be just one’s view or guess and say best to call your cell provider.

My parents are going on the Alaska Victoria cruise for almost 10 days starting on Aug 6, and back home on Aug 15 mid to late afternoon. It be nice to keep in contact to make sure nothing happen to them like a bad road and got hurt well walking or there is whatever problem with the cruise ship and so on. Weather it been heard about on the news before(the last time there was any on local or network news on this) or it be for the first time and will be on the news.

Call me over reacting, crazy or whatever, but I do have a little anxiety disorder and been seeing a Psychiatric Social Worker since 04.

I used my at&t iphone in every alaskan port on my cruise, signal was just fine. Billing is just like any other state, depends on your plan wheither or not you will have roaming fees. When you are onboard and the ship is out at sea you can use your phone, but with extra charges. There are also phones in the rooms that can be used with a phone card.

Usually cruise websites will have a FAQ that helps with these questions

when america fired cruise missiles to afghanistan.two of them fall in balouchistan(pakistan). pakistan gave these missile to china and china stole their technology and gave pakitan a cruise missile.now pakistan is making new cruise missiles.why america didnot stop pakistan to steal his technology.do u think america lose in this matter?

No one can blame anyone with out a Proof….there was no single proof that Iran has Missile Technology but it was destroyed…………Pakistan is a very Poor Country…..
if Pakistan is Doing something it is only for their Defence…
Not for any Negetive purpose……….India is threatning Pakistan……that By chance they Get seprated One day they will get Pakistan Back…….and West too says till new Century Pakistan will be Destroyed……..for that reason if any Protective measures Pakistan is doing ….it is not harmful for others……….In fact Pakistan is a very Friendly…and peaceful Country…..

I’m sick of hearing rumors of people being gay, that’s their private life.They call that outing and its almost a tradition in north American and great brittain.You won’t find that in china, japan, muslim countries or south american countries. Even south Europe(italy, spain or greece) don’t out people like unat, unless they are involve in a sexual scandal with minors.

Outing was invented by a few frustrated Gay activist wishing to make every noble straight man to their level.Since then, popular media have found an evil pleasure to denigrate people reputation with simple rumors.

The targets are often good looking Caucasian man like Tom Cruise or Ricky martin.Even if they are gay, why people have an evil pleasure of making other people less happy.Since they don’t want to be label as Gay why not let them live.

My mom wants to go on a cruise. She is born in China, so she moved here (USA) 25 years ago. She has an valid US Alien card (green card) and a picture NYS ID card. She is NOT a citizen, so dont advise about US passports. Can she go to cruise ships to Carribeans? I need personal experience advice rather than website links.

U.S. Resident Aliens are required to present, in addition to a valid passport, a current and valid Alien Resident Card.

My brother is on an aircraft carrier in the gulf….says they are all freaking out about the new russian missile china and iran has. That the US military is lacking in anti missile technology…and also has nothing to match the russian made new “sunburt” missile. Is this true?
Ive been looking around the web/asking questions. So far…what ive found out is 1)The us does not have a supersonic missile. he have the harpoon which is from the 70’s. As far as defense we have the Aguies(sp?) system that the russian missile was made to destroy.

Further question. If we have a military budget spending more the the russians and china…why dont we have better technology?
