Chinese EMP Attack Prompts US Missile Strike After Cruise Ship Crippled
By: Sorcha Faal

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared for Prime Minister Putin by Director Anatoly Perminov of the Russian Federal Space Agency states that an Arkon-1 military satellite monitoring the western coastal regions of North America detected an “EMP anomalous event” occurring on November 8th at 0600 Pacific Standard Time (-8 hours GMT) that bore the “direct signature” of a YJ-62 subsonic anti-ship missile fired from a Chinese People’s Liberation Navy Type 041 submarine (NATO code name Yuan-Class) [photo 2nd left] known to be patrolling approximately 200 kilometers off United States coast.

Nearly 11 hours after this EMP “event”, this report further says, Arkon-1 then detected a BGM-109 (Tomahawk) subsonic cruise missile launched from a US Navy Ohio-Class submarine operating off the coast of California [photo bottom left] on a “training mission” from its home port located at US Navy’s Kitsap Base in Washington State and was enroute to the largest American Naval Base on the US west coast in San Diego, California.

Note: A Russian military intelligence (GRU) addendum to this report states that the “training mission” the Ohio-Class submarine was on is related to a new US law passed this year allowing for the first time in history for women to serve on US Navy subs and was an “operational exercise” testing female Naval Officers competence prior to their first “operational deployment”.

The “immediate effect” of the Chinese Navy’s firing of their EMP missile, this report continues, was the “catastrophic crippling” of the US based cruise ship Carnival Splendor [photo 3rd left] that stranded its nearly 4,500 passengers and crew in a “dead in the water” boat and prompting the Americans to send the US Navy’s Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier, warplanes, and supply aircraft to protect it from further attack after all of its electronic systems were destroyed.

An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) such as was used upon the Carnival Splendor is a burst of electromagnetic radiation that causes rapidly changing electric fields (or magnetic fields) that when coupling with electrical/electronic systems produces damaging current and voltage surges destroying all non-hardened electrical systems.

The US Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) had previously warned that American ships were vulnerable to such attacks with EMP Assessment Group Leader of Blaise Corbett stating that “the consequences of failing to take appropriate precautions to protect fleet mission critical systems can ultimately prove catastrophic to the Navy’s mission.”

The purpose of this Chinese EMP upon an American ship, this report says, was twofold: 1.) A test of the EMP weapon itself that in a war against the Americans and would be used against their Naval Fleet and Marine Forces operating out of California and the west coast of the US, and 2.) A test of the response time for American retaliatory measures against any Chinese warship attacking the US and/or its interests in the Pacific.

The GRU further states that the timing of this attack was timed even more crucially due to China’s testing of America’s response time during a period when their President, as Commander In Chief of all US Military Forces, was out of the country, as Obama was as he was in India at the time.

The Americans response time of nearly 11 hours between the EMP attack on the Carnival Splendor and the US retaliatory strike, the GRU states, “virtually assured” that the Chinese submarine responsible for the attack escaped, but which they further point out may have been intended by the Americans so as not to escalate this crisis.

To the geo-political reason(s) for a Communist Chinese attack upon the Americans just days before the crucially important G-20 Summit in South Korea, which both President’s Hu and Obama will be attending, this report says was due to the United States, in essence, declaring total economic war upon the rest of the world by its printing of nearly $ 1 Trillion US Dollars in order to monetize its staggering debt and that China warned:

“If the United States can increase the volume of dollars and it can transmit inflation to other countries to lessen the pressure of debt, then it will bring about a catastrophic influence on the world.”

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Chinese military continues to increase spending on efforts to break into U.S. military computer systems, expand its Navy, and invest in intercontinental nuclear missiles and weapons to destroy satellites, according to the latest U.S report on China’s military power.
———————————–

By ADAM ENTOUS

WASHINGTON—The Pentagon voiced alarm over China’s military buildup, saying it was expanding its advantage over Taiwan and investing heavily in ballistic and cruise missile capabilities that could one day pose a challenge to U.S. dominance in the western Pacific.

In its annual report to Congress on Chinese military capabilities, the Pentagon also cited China’s advances in electronic warfare. The U.S. government has been the target of cyber intrusions the report says appear to have originated in China and aimed to steal military secrets. “These intrusions focused on exfiltrating information, some of which could be of strategic or military utility,” the report said.

Fox is owned by CHINA – because they are HERE in AMERICA and CHINA owns a LARGE AMOUNT of STOCK in AMERICA. That’s the extent of that.

Unlike the MAIN STREAM MEDIA – who refuse to carry ANTI-OBAMA stories… Fox will report “news”.

So many times… I’ll see a story on FOX… and tune to MSNBC or CNN – and there will be NO MENTION of it – FOR DAYS!

(And that’s only because FOX broke the story… and they HAD to cover it).

Planning Family Trip to China?

Question by Dafan: Planning Family Trip to China?
My adventurous family and I are planning a trip to China in June 2010. We are planning to arrange all travel ourselves and stay in non-Western hotels. I’m a teacher, and I hope to see the sights while avoiding (to the greatest extent) having a typical tourist experience. I especially hope to get a sense of China’s past (philosophies, history) vs. her present/future, and to be an observer of Chinese “life”.

I would love to hear advice from experienced travelers to China! Here’s our basic itinerary. I’m struggling over whether to stay in Guilin or just go to Yongshuo instead. Thoughts??

Beijing – 5 days (4 nights) – Great Wall, Forbidden City/Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Back Lakes, Daoist/Buddhist temples, Panjiayuan Jiuhuo Shichang Shopping District

Xi’an – 1.5 days (2 nights) – Terracotta Warriors, City Wall/Muslim Quarter, Wild Goose Pagoda, museum

Shanghai – 3 days (3 nights) The only guided tour I have planned is in Shanghai (includes Bund, Yu Yuan Gardens, Jade Buddha, Pudong, Xin Tiandi, People’s Square). Also plan to see Old Chinese City, French Concession, take the Maglev train, and am debating the Huangpu River Cruise

Guilin/Yongshuo – 1.5 days (2 nights) Don’t know which one to see, but I want to do the Li River Cruise. I’ve heard it’s 1/2 the cost if you start in Yongshuo.

Hong Kong – 4 days (4 nights) Repulse Bay, beach, Lantao Island, ???

That’s an ambitious itinerary! How old are your children? Traveling in China can be very tiring, regardless of your age, but your children may need more downtime than you, especially while they’re adjusting to the time difference. As China Traveler pointed out, your hectic schedule doesn’t leave much time for interaction with Chinese. One activity I would suggest is to take in some parks — Beijing has wonderful parks and you might want to go early some morning (say 6 a.m.-ish) to view all the activity such as ballroom dancing and exercises that go on. Later in the day, parks could provide a chance for your kids to play with Chinese kids (if it’s after school or on a weekend) and for you to interact with their parents. Language could be a problem, but smiles go a long way!

IF we went to war with China could we win?

Question by Patrick: IF we went to war with China could we win?
Recently in the news im seeing a lot about the Chinese threat to the USA and how we a rapidly becoming inferior to the chinese government. I was always under the impression that the two would never war because the rely so heavily on each others economies, you know if one were to eliminate the other both economies would collapse. Recently though ive heard a lot about war scenarios and the increasing risk of war. Despite Chinas numbers and apparent “superiority to the USA” I still believe we would win a war against them, right? I mean does chinas navy hiold a candle to the USA’s. Wouldnt we just sit off the coast and just cruise missle the whole place. We would never be able to invade china but those millions of soldiers in the Chinese army would never be able to leave the land and it would most likely be fought on chinese soil. Am I wrong?

To be released outside of China?

Question by OlympicFuwa: To be released outside of China?
I’ve always enjoyed the Olympics, yet not so much as I’m enjoying the upcoming Olympic Beijing Games as they are to take place in one of my favorite countries which is China.

The spirit of good will and perseverance, which surrounds these games, has been embodied in the five Fuwa which are symbolic of the Five Olympic Rings.

In China an anime named Olympic Adventures of Fuwa or The Fuwa Olympic Cruise with the Olympic theme has been released and is centered on Chinese Cultures and the preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

I just would like to ask if this anime will be aired outside of China, to be more specific I’d like to know if it will be aired in the United States on a network like Cartoon Network?

And does anyone know if a site like youtube or veoh contains episodes with subs for the anime?

If anyone knows the answer to these questions please give me the information for I will be truly thankful.
