mean how do u think we would really react.

1. white and black come together and gang up on green.

2. after one of their satelites are destroyed france cuts a deal (ww2 style) with the aliens and elects a puppet regime.

3. the arabs charge with derelict soviet space shuttles and go on the greatest suicide run in history

4. the most powerful christian nations in the west, russia and china get taking out fast and the refugees from these countries move to the third world and join with the rest of humanity in resistance and guerilla warfare, in subsaharan jungles, siberian tundras and north african deserts.

5. the church of scientology declares all religions are wrong, and we should worship the aliens as gods. the aliens then make tom cruises their prophet and charge him with exterminating and converting all other religious infidels to the church of scientology.

9. billy bob gets out of his trailer with his 12 gauge and bible and tries to forcefully convert the aliens to cristianity. he then gets vapourized and the the aliens play their own version of cowboys and indians, but this time with the cowboys being the aliens and the indians being the human race.

10.one day everyone is chilling enjoying the planet and them there is a flash and just like that humanity and its civilizations cease to exist

I know everyone (well I’ll say 90 percent) of America is getting affected by the gas prices and even though ya it’s not extremely horrible it still isn’t great… I can’t remember the last time I was paying 300 dollars a month is just gas for my cars alone and basically all we do is go to work, school (kids), and any daily needs that need to be met..

I understand the whole supply and demand concept as well as China and India demanding oil like never before so of course prices will rise but my questions is when will our Congress Men and Women grow a pair and fight these damn lobbyist and environmentalist and drill for resources that are readily there and can help reduce these prices

That or some new alternative technology needs to be made ASAP, you mean to tell me we have fighter jets that look like the size of birds on radar, are cable of cruising at super sonic and we can go into space but we can’t figure something else to run on but gasoline??? whatever

Look at it this way. Many on the left and in Hollyweird has for decades saying how we need to be more like Europe. Well, when we get to 6 dollas gas, we made it. Get used to it, if we have to pay for a NHS the price of food, gas, everything is gonna go up, up, up.

Please explain them, and Solve them, Because I am clueless.

1. Which law is in control of a spacecraft which cruises through space at a constant speed without using any fuel?

2. Which law governs when a tablecloth is pulled out from under a setting of china without damaging it?

3. Which law governs why a car is set in motion and not the asphalt highway on which it travels?

4. Which law allows a spaceship to accelerate by burning rocket fuel?

5. Which law relates acceleration to mass?

6. Which law governs when two skaters push apart in a rink?

Newton’s First Law- object in motion (straight line) stays in motion

2. Which law governs when a tablecloth is pulled out from under a setting of china without damaging it?

Newton’s First Law- objects at rest tend to stay at rest

3. Which law governs why a car is set in motion and not the asphalt highway on which it travels?

Actually the problem is flawed. For the most part the car moves forward over the road, but to a very slight extent the highway moves backwards under the car (Newton’s Third Law)

4. Which law allows a spaceship to accelerate by burning rocket fuel?

Newton’s Second Law – Force = mass times acceleration

5. Which law relates acceleration to mass?

Newton’s Second Law – Force = mass times acceleration

6. Which law governs when two skaters push apart in a rink?

Newton’s Third Law – for every force or action there is a force or reaction in the opposite direction of equal magnitude– they should have worded this more carefully, and said something like “if one of the ice skaters pushes against the other, they both move opposite one to the other.
To some extent we should mention Newton’s Second Law because although both get the same force, the one with less mass will accelerate more than the other.

7. Which law governs why a golf ball will go farther than a baseball if each are hit with the same amount of force?

Newton’s Second Law – Force equals mass times acceleration

To some extent this exercise could be a problem. Although I feel I captured the intent, a student might leave this thinking that different “Newton Laws” apply to different problems.

All 3 laws are always in play — they don’t “pick and choose” or “take turns”.

As you may know recently, North Korea bombed the South Korean island of Yeonpyeong at November 23, 2010. Why did it happen? South Korean tensions have been growing since March when earlier a South Korean naval vessel was bombed and sunk around this area as well. North Korea’s government official Kim Jong II is passing his “power” over to his son Kim Jong Un, which is believed to be ruled as a “king” and not a government leader.

What have other nations said? Russia remains quiet giving suing hints of “peace”, meanwhile China says “it’s concerned” and the United States told the North to cease its “belligerent” action. Hmm… what is South Korean doing? Nothing… is South Korea waiting on the United States to finally take action by it’s lackadaisical and incautious president Barack Obama? Since South Korea relies on its allies, like the United States, will South Korea do anything about the threats and vigorous actions North Korea has done? Or is North Korea trying to show other nations it’s the most “powerful” due to it’s aptitude of warfare?

Should the United States do anything to fix South Korea’s problem?
Do you think Barack Obama is just cruising along the way just lacking leadership and continuously saying “I inherited this problem from the previous administration.”

I am going to new york for nine days. First time. I want to do as much as possible. I was wondering if anybody has a good daily itinerary that I could follow? I want to do things close together in one day and so forth. Some of the major things I want to hit are Ground Zero, China Town, Times Square, Broadway, Central Park and it’s museums, greenwich village, sighttseeing cruises, empire state building, wax museum, manhatten mall, museum of modern art, nbc studio tour, skyride, rockefeller center, statue of liberty and ellis island, century 21, frozzen hot chocolate at serendipity, brooklyn bridge, and any other ideas that you think would be awesome. I have Phantom of the opera tickets already and I have a new york pass. We are staying right in Times Square if that helps any, and I would prefer to take the subway or other cheap ways of travel.

Just 3 things
If you can then change your hotel reservation from TS to the Upper West Side
Doing that will save you money and place you in a much better and non-touristy neighborhood
I mean you’re gonna be in town for 9 days you’ll feel better coming home to a neighborhood where real NY’ers actually live
NYC is a 24/7 city >use that to your advantage
Do the things that have got to be done before 5:00PM before 5:00PM
Go back to your hotel , take a nap for a couple of hours ,freshen up and then go out and play with the City at night
Lastly NYC is the greatest food city on the planet
On the things that NYers worship list Food is always on the top 3 .Take advantage of that by not using any chain restaurants x/c Dunkin Donuts and eating at local ethnic restaurants and getting authentic gourmet ethnic groceries at any one of the hundreds of such places scattered throughout the City and it’s boroughs.

If any body has studied in China for more than a year and has received an X-visa, could you please check the paperwork from your health testing? I’m going to China to study for a year next year, but I have herpes and I’m worried that they’re going to catch it. I’ve been cruising a lot of expat forums and it seems that a lot of people are saying that the government either a) doesn’t test for it, b) don’t take the time to differentiate it from the other symplexs that cause cold sores, or c) won’t actually flag you for it.

If anyone could give me some information about this, I’d really appreciate it. It’s literally keeping me up at night to think that I might not finish my Ph.D. because of something this stupid.

If you have a blood test then they will test for sexually transmitted diseases.

Pretty much the only reason you will refused a visa in a Chinese health check is because of an sexually transmitted disease.

What they test for will depend on where you are, large cities will be more complete and smaller cities.

I’ve been married to my husband for three years and is three months pregnant with our first child. We’re living comfortably and is trying to save money for our baby.

My father in-law lives off food stamp/ welfare, my mother in-law recently quit her part time job.. both are psychically capable and healthy but are extremely lazy! They recently took domestic trips and went on cruises, and is now planing a three-week trip to China. They’re also hoarders and are obsessed with spending money at thrift stores! (They visit Good Will store Mon-Sun and will spend up to $ 50 everyday!)

My husband has been paying for their cell phone bills for years (mother in-law is trying to get my husband to buy her an iPhone) and are now handing him bills from their car insurance to life insurance! I don’t mind my husband helping them out here and there, but they are spending thousands of dollars on trips and etc.. and is expecting my husband to pay nearly $ 500/ a month in bills for them?? I’ve talk about this to my husband but every time he refuse to help them, they will make him feel bad for not helping out or make it into something personal.

I don’t know what more I can do or say, but I feel like it is getting out of control! How can I make my husband see that his parents are simple taking advantage of him??

Your husband is an enabler. He has no spine. I think you need to get him into counseling.

You two are married. It isn’t just his money. It is your money as well. You need to say it is time to stop. His parents are NOT NEEDY. There is no reason for a child to be supporting parents who are capable of working. Eventually, you will have to drop the bombshell – it’s either your parents or you and your child.

In addition, you might consider reporting them for welfare fraud.
