Q&A: Does the US think civilians from “3rd World” countries are just dirty animals and so have no rights???

Question by f_vidigal: Does the US think civilians from “3rd World” countries are just dirty animals and so have no rights???
It is very common practice of the US to launch missile air strikes against populated areas if they think someone wanted is hiding there somewhere, and usually they kill the guy but they also kill many innocent civilians. After that, the US officials say they are sorry(not), and case closed. And they don’t care because it was “3rd World” Nation civilians.
How about if a “3rd World” Nation wanted someone and thought the guy was hiding in a US town, then send a “3rd World” cruise missile to blow up that US town, and then just say sorry, and case closed?
Would the US send a cruise missile too if that wanted guy was hiding in Paris, or somewhere in China?
How about if the US suspected a wanted guy was hiding in a US town would they send a missile to blow the town up, then no criminal repercussions, no monetary “compensations”, and just say sorry, and case closed?
What is the difference between innocent US civilians, innocent “3rd World” Nation civilians, and innocent Chinese civilians?
Are the innocent US civilians prettier? US civilians can suffer pain and the others don’t? US civilians have hopes, dreams and families; and the others don’t? Does US civilians are worth more than other Human Beings?
Is US ARROGANT and Inhumane???

Pretty good, except that you need to keep the Land pavilion because it is where Soarin’ is. You could remove the boat ride in the land and the Timon and Pumbaa environmental movie for the coaster. Scrap the Stich’s Great Escape for kids idea. Nobody even likes the original. Also, try thinking of another ride to replace the Three Caballeros because that ride is really boring and needs to be removed badly. It’s a Small World needs to stay in Magic Kingdom. Try doing something to Journey Into Imagination With Figment because that ride is not very popular. Everything else is great!

I’m looking for a book but I can’t remember the title of the book and the author.?

Question by blehhh 😛: I’m looking for a book but I can’t remember the title of the book and the author.?
Like it says up there, I’m looking for a book. All I can remember is that its about this toy rabbit named Edward(?) and he’s made of china. One day he was on a cruise with his 12 year old owner and some boys threw him off the ship. His owner kept his gold watch, well at least I think it was a watch. He then ended up with a bunch of different people finding him and his was smashed at a diner in the end of the book. But he was fixed and his original owner found him.

Q&A: Will Asians Rule The World Specifically The Chinese and The Japanese???

Question by Britney S: Will Asians Rule The World Specifically The Chinese and The Japanese???
Currently right now the world is ruled by white people even though they are the minority when it comes down to the world’s population. The majority of the Earth’s people are infact Asian and are doing really well econmically. The 2 power Asian countries right now is China and Japan. They are smarter than most White Europeans and White Americans and have better work ethics. A lot of things that we buy is made from China and the technological things we own/purchase come from Japan such as games. Many white men and a few white women are having families with them and are diluting their Caucasian bloodline. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are a perfect example of this since they both have an asian relative way back and the asian blood showed through with their child Suri Cruise. Every caucasian person in the world could interbreed with them(the Asians) and still there’ll be an astounding amount of pure blooded Asians in the World. When will they kick out white people for world power?

Three Ohio-class US subs in Asian waters?

Question by r1b1c*: Three Ohio-class US subs in Asian waters?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/08599200237800

Our Ohio-class subs are popping up all around China, how would we react if their subs were popping up all around us in say the Gulf of Mexico, off of California and maybe within (cruise missile type) range of New York?

Do you support this United Statesian stance on the far east?
Would you stand for the Chinese doing the same in/or near United Statesian territory?

Best answer:

Answer by ⌡Machine Head⌠
At no point were they in the recognized territorial waters of China, any ship of any navy can be in any part of open international waters at any time of peace.

There is little doubt that Chinese subs have been in international waters off the coast of the U.S., just as during the Cold War Soviet electronic surveillance trawlers were a constant presence in the international waters off the U.S.

Remember 4 items –

1) Listening

2) Reasoning

3) Understanding

4) Negotiating

You could try the long-lost art of speaking with your parents concerning your thoughts and feelings.

Choose a time when both parents have absolutely nothing to do. (They can’t give excuses, then)

Remember that you might need to give up some of your time for this to happen.

Also, choose an atmosphere which is conducive for discussion, such as a “neutral” room of the house, or perhaps (if the weather is nice), sitting on a blanket in the back yard.

Above all, the atmosphere must be relaxing and no interference, such as TV, other people, music, noisy locations, etc.

The simple trick of communicating is CALMLY (and I mean calmly) discussing with your parents your thoughts, dreams, and hopes. Other subjects could also be included.

Remember the word calmly. It does no good if one raises their voice and tries to control the conversation.

Another trick is listening to their side of the conversation. Don’t you dominate the conversation and keep your ears open.

Remember, you asked them for their time, so give them your full attention.

Most conversation ends abruptly because of non-listening.

An item of importance; if one of your parents says something you don’t agree with, don’t belittle them; instead,

Negotiate and ask them what would be agreeable to them.

(This tends to work wonders – it makes them stop to think, sometimes helping them realize they just might be unreasonable. But keep in mind – they might do this to you, so have some reasonable answers ready.)

Keep the communications open and two-way (or three-way, if both parents are present.)

You’ll find that listening, reasoning, understanding, and negotiating are very effective ways of communicating and eventually everybody gets what everybody wants.

It also shows your parents that you are growing up and possibly ready to handle responsibilities.

What do you think? Answer below!

Q&A: What do you think of my ideals for raising children?

Question by Naomi: What do you think of my ideals for raising children?
What I would like for my children
To have the best life I can give them.
I want them (from a young age) to have friends- good ones, and supporting ones, with morals like their own.
To have family structure and big events for holidays, and a wealth of love and support. I want them to feel the structure and respect in the family, and to feel belonging and roots.
I want them to avoid modern acceptable behavior, such as smoking, drinking, speaking out against elders, sex without marriage, etc.
I want them to feel peace in life through religion. It will be a mixed belief, one of god and science, and respect of all cultures and religions.
I want them to be comfortable financially, and give them a head start where possible. But I also want them to work hard and keep that ethic. I will encourage them in their studies, and in holding a job as soon as they are old enough.
I want them to see the world. I want them to experience the thrills and cultures- disney world, a caribbean cruise, paris, london, cairo, india, china, etc. I want them to sample sports and arts, of all kinds, and take up interests (bowling, playing a musical instrument, etc.)
I want them to have experience in etiquette, household, pets, social manners, etc.
These are just some of my thoughts… Any to add?

Best answer:

Answer by awkwardly balanced
You have the what down – now the how. What you want to add is…

How do you get your kids to perceive that this is what you are gifting them?

Messages of well being need to have someone on the receiving end – what parents think of as advice and gifts of wisdom end up being received as criticism and soul crushing. Two people trying to connect from such a diverse point of view (generation gap) rarely end up communicating effectively. You have to educate yourself about how to understand when your message has been lost in the translation – and that demands lots of ongoing education of yourself about developmental milestones at each age, and then further about what these milestones actually look like in your very own child right there in front of you.
