Pentagon launches its China-threat campaign again, It has done that just about every year for past 10 years..

The problem in that ten-year span is that the world did not see a single China’ fleet (they even could not built a aircraft-carrier..) cruising at the doorstep of other sovereign nations. Neither have we seen China warships stationed or sailed on a permanent basis, along the important sea channels connecting the oceans.

On the contrast, it is none other than the US, who has done exactly that! From land to air, from sea to space, the dominance and omnipotence are unmistakably of US military dominance.

So why accusing China as a villain while the US is doing the scoundrel act.?

Scoundrel act? Protecting freedom of the seas is a scoundrel act? The Chinese navy is small, but the Army and Air Force are modern, well equipped forces.

They are on a F1 visa with a I20 for high school. They are both 18. They are both from China and one wants to open an E-Trade account. She does not have a SSN or TIN. She has a bank account that is it.
The other wants to take a cruise to Mexico. Can he actually leave the USA?

A cruise to Mexico would be easy enough to accomplish if the student takes a valid passport and a properly endorsed SEVIS I-20 form.

It could be a current SEVIS Form I-20 properly endorsed by the DSO for reentry if there has been no substantive change to the most recent Form I-20 information, or a new SEVIS Form I-20 if there has been a substantive change in the information on the student’s most recent Form I-20 information, such as in the case of a student who has changed the major area of study, who intends to transfer to another Service approved institution or who has advanced to a higher level of study.

He would need to be returning to the U.S. to attend school. Remember, high school students are limited to 12 months of study at a public high school.

The E-Trade question isn’t really an immigration question. A stock broker or the Social Security administration can answer that one.

Wouldn’t technology make it extremely difficult to even get military assets to a foreign power, or vice versa?

For example, can’t navy ships be sunk by cruise missles while they’re thousands of miles away. Can’t major powers see where our ships & planes are with satelite & vice versa. How would we land troops in Russia or China for an invasion?

Non-nuclear doesn’t mean non-technological. We could have wars without nuclear energy or weapons, if the possibility ever arose. But if we didn’t have technology, how did the war begin in the first place?

And if we can’t go to them, how can they come to us?

After reading the article below they are functionally extinct which is a different term from calling it ‘officially extinct’ (the term is clickable within the article if you wish to know the difference). The article only says that a ‘possible baiji’ was filmed in 2007, I can infer from that that no species recovery was involved, it was just a possible sighting of a single individual.

This Whole Week Ive Been Dreaming About Swimming Pools! The First Day I Dreamt I Was Swimming In A Cave In China. The Second Dream I Had I Was At A Water Park Swimming In The Huge Pool. The Following Day I Dreamt That I Was In PE And I Had To Take A Shower. Then I Had A Dream Last Night That I Was On A Cruise Ship And Then I Jumped Off With My Friends Into The Sea & We Were Swimming Near The Boat. What Does My Dreams Mean?

I am an International Student in U.S who comes from China(who is non-us citizens). I am currently in U.S and my U.S Visa has been expeired one month ago, but my I-20 and I-94 are still valid. This spring break, I wanna take a cruise to travel Mexico or Bahhama, or Puerto Rico, Which island can I go without the risk that rejected by U.S when reenter? Can I go to Bahhama, Mexico or Maya?

Nope.

The moment you leave the US, your I-94 is collected. In order to enter again, you will need a valid visa and a valid passport. Note that some visas transfer, meaning you get a new Chinese passport but if your visa in the old one is still valid, you just show the old passport together with the new passport at the point of entry.

Please don’t tell me it’s central. I mean if I have to categorize it as either north of south. I have been told the dividing line is the Yangtze River but it seems to run thru Shanghai and so I’m not sure.

It is on the Eastern edge of china… Not on North nor South 🙂
