Question by : i just came back from a 2 week trip from china?
ok i live in america and just went to china and got back a few days before. so i have a couple of issues right now. im still jetlagged so i have to be able to get over that quickly before school starts in 4 days. i basically wake up at aroun 2 in the morning and go back to sleep and wake up again later and then i cant sleep for about an hour then i end up falling back to sleep and waking up really late. another problem is that i have that weird feeling you get when you get back from a long vacation and you feel weird and out of it. but i cant stand that feeling and i get it all the time considering that i take many big trips. i need help on how to get rid of that feeling and the jet lag but i know that once i came back from a 1 week cruise and the next day school started so i didnt get that feeling at all. but now i know i have to suffer 4 moredays but im gonna go to a different school and thats also bringing me more pressure. so i really wanna get rid of both the jet lag and the weird feeling so i can enjoy the last 4 days before a long school year starts instead of suffer them. and i have absolutly no idea on what catagory this should be in so it might be really stupid.
and im also having trouble sleeping cuz its day there when its night here so any tips on that?

“Not eating for 12-16 hours can help people quickly reset their sleep-wake cycle, according to a new study from the Harvard Medical School. This discovery can drastically improve a person’s ability to cope with jet lag or adjust to working late shifts.
Scientists have long known that our circadian rhythm is regulated by our exposure to light. Now they have found a second “food clock” that takes over when we are hungry. This mechanism probably evolved to make sure starving mammals don’t go to sleep when they should be foraging for food.”
You could give it a try. Although I have always gotten jet let over on the plane by just not sleep at all, then when I arrive in the states, I am so tired that I pass out right away. Of course, it is always harder to get over it when you come back to the United States because you are “not loosing” anytime when you come back. Good luck.
