The Bund and Huangpu River
Huangpu River is the mother river of Shanghai which also divides the city into eastern and western parts and assembles the splendid attractions of this city. Bund is situated on the east bank of the Huangpu River and is a symbol of Shanghai. Jae Buddha Temple
Jade Buddha Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in Shanghai. The White jade Buddhas were brought from Burma to here in the 19th Century. One is it is seated while the others are in the position of Sakyamuni recumbent which symbolizes the attainment of nirvana or enlightenment of Buddha. This temple also has the impressive images of the Heavenly Kings.
Xin Tian DI
Xin Tian Di is the best choice if you want to experience the cultural and historic atmosphere of the city. It is composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style and one of the hot and fashionable streets in the centre of the city.
